Actions pertaining to the approval of an agreement between TAM+CZ Inc., of Fresno, CA in the amount of $127,880 plus a contingency of $10,000 for the design and preparation of construction documents for the Community Center Remodel Project at 5191 North Sixth Street (Council District 4)

RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends approval of an agreement with TAM+CZ Inc., in the amount of $127,880 plus a contingency of $10,000 for the design and preparation of construction documents for the Community Center Remodel Project at 5191 North Sixth Street and authorizes the Public Works Director or designee to execute the Agreement on behalf of the City of Fresno.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The newly acquired Community Center is located on the southeast corner of Sixth Street and Bulldog Lane in Fresno. The Community Center has a planned use to serve as a neighborhood center for the El Dorado community and surrounding area, providing a variety of recreational and social activities, programs and events for the youth, adult and senior populations. Staff recommends hiring TAM+CZ Inc., to develop plans and bid documents for the Community Center Remodel Project at 5191 North Sixth Street.
BACKGROUND
On June 18, 2020, the City Council approved the acquisition of the property located at 5191 North Sixth Street for the development of a community center in the site's existing building space.
