Title
Actions pertaining to the purchase of hotels to provide interim housing for at-risk residents due to COVID-19:
1. Adopt a finding of Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section 15301/Class 1 and Section 15303/Class 3 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines
2. ***RESOLUTION - Adopting the 39th Amendment to the Annual Appropriation Resolution No. 2020-159 to appropriate $4,500,000 in CARES Act Funds to fund acquisition of interim housing (Requires 5 Votes) (Subject to Mayor’s Veto)
3. Approve material terms and delegate authority to the City Manager to enter into Agreement(s) to provide interim housing for at-risk residents due to COVID-19, subject to approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
