RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Development Department is requesting that the subject application be referred back to staff. The subject project may be brought back to the Planning Commission for consideration at a later date. Any scheduling for further consideration by the Planning Commission on a future agenda will be required to be properly re-noticed to area residents in accordance with the requirements of the Fresno Municipal Code.

Conditional Use Permit Application No. P20-00267 requested authorization to construct an 80-foot-tall mono-pine wireless telecommunication facility along with a ground equipment cabinet, generator, telco box, and transformer within a fenced area of 30 feet by 30 feet area in the yard of a residential property located in the RM-1/UGM (Residential, Multi-Family, Medium High Density/Urban Growth Management) zone district.

On June 17, 2020, this appeal was presented to the Planning Commission. The Commission voted to continue the item to July 1, 2020, and requested staff to provide additional information provided by the applicant during the June 17 hearing and a radio frequency study, to address concerns regarding to radio frequency emissions for the proposed wireless telecommunication facility.
