RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends City Council approve the Sixth Amendment to the Consultant Services Agreement, dated April 27, 2017, with QK Consulting Engineers Inc. in the amount of $5,928, increasing the total contract amount to $86,998, for the Jensen Avenue Overlay from State Route 41 to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard Project, and to authorize the Public Works Director or designee to execute the amendment to the agreement on behalf of the City of Fresno.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The design for the Jensen Avenue Overlay Project from State Route 41 to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard is nearly complete and preparing to advertise for bid in the coming months. Through the final design coordination, City staff and the Consultant have identified the need for additional design services to address unforeseen utility conflicts and to provide additional project management support. Staff recommends City Council approve the Sixth Amendment to the Consultant Services Agreement with QK Consulting Engineers for $5,928, increasing the total contract amount to $86,998 for professional civil engineering design services and preparation of construction documents.
