Title: Action pertaining to Repealing and Adding Fire and Life Safety Regulations in the Fresno Municipal Code: 1. 1. RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended Council:
1. Adopt the finding that this project is not subject to the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to CEQA Guidelines, Section 15061(b)(3) as there is clearly no possibility the adoption of the 2022 California Fire Code or amendments may have a significant adverse effect on the environment.
2. Consider and adopt the attached Resolution making express findings that modifications or changes to the 2022 California Fire Code are reasonably necessary because of local climatic, geological, or topographical conditions.
