RECOMMENDATIONS

Staff recommends that City Council approve a consultant services agreement with Pcubed Associates Inc. in the amount of $128,195, with a $15,000 contingency, for the design of the Replacement of One Makeup Air Unit and Two Air Handling Units in the Headworks Building at the Fresno-Clovis Regional Wastewater Reclamation Facility (Project), and authorize the Capital Projects Director, or designee, to sign the agreement on behalf of the City of Fresno (City).

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Critical ventilation units in the Fresno-Clovis Regional Wastewater Reclamation Facility (RWRF) Headworks Building are original to construction in 1993 and must be replaced. These units maintain temperature in electrical rooms and control the ventilation of toxic gases in the Headworks Building. For the design of these replacements, the Capital Projects Department performed a competitive consultant selection process and requests Council's approval of a consultant services agreement with Pcubed Associates Inc. for design and construction support of the Project in the amount of $128,195, with a $15,000 contingency.
