RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends City Council approve the Second Amendment to the Professional Engineering Services Agreement with Community Works Design Group in the amount of $21,860, increasing the total contract amount to $761,500, with a remaining contingency of $50, for design and construction support services related to roadway improvements for Dolores Huerta Park (formerly Milburn and Dakota Park) Project.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The City of Fresno (City) awarded a Professional Engineering Services Agreement to Community Works Design Group (CWDG) on June 30, 2022, to prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for a new park located on the northeast corner of North Milburn Avenue and West Dakota Avenue. After a review of the initial design plan by the City's Department of Public Works, additional roadway improvements were identified as conditions of approval for the project.
