Approve the appointment of Ronald Sheppard, and the reappointment of Frances Reyes Acosta to the Disability Advisory Commission. Approve the appointment of Brad Hardie to the Civil Service Board. Approve the reappointment of Paul Idsvoog to the Housing Authority of the City of Fresno. Approve the reappointments of Kimberly McCoy, Jon Dohlin and Jose Barraza to the Parks, Recreation, and Arts Commission.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Disability Advisory Commission consists of seven members appointed by the Mayor. One vacancy currently exists. The Mayor’s Office is providing the appointment of Ronald Sheppard (Resident of District 5) to a term ending June 30, 2024, and reappointment of Frances Reyes Acosta (Resident of District 4) to a term ending June 30, 2025, for consideration.
The Civil Service Board (CSB) consists of five members. Two vacancies currently exist. Recruitment for the CSB has proven to be a challenge due to several factors, including the time commitment for hearings. The Mayor’s Office is providing the appointment of Brad Hardie (Resident of District 2) to a term ending June 30, 2026, for consideration. Mr. Hardie is currently Vice-Chair of the Planning Commission, upon appointment to the Civil Service Board, he will no longer serve on the Planning Commission.
The Housing Authority of the City of Fresno consists of seven members appointed by the Mayor, no vacancies exist. The Mayor’s Office is providing the reappointment of Paul Idsvoog (Resident of District 2) to a term ending April 30, 2028, for consideration.
The Parks, Recreation, and Arts Commission consists of nine members. Three members are currently serving in expired terms. The Mayor’s Office is providing the reappointments of Kimberly McCoy (Resident of District 4) to a term ending July 1, 2026, Jon Dohlin (Resident of District 3 - Residing in High Needs Area) to a term ending July 1, 2027, and Jose Barraza (Resident of District 5) to a term ending July 1, 2027, for consideration.
