RECOMMENDATIONS

Staff recommends that Council approve Amendment to the Agreement with Partners in Control, Inc. to include the addition of cyber and professional liability insurance requirements for update of the City of Fresno's Northeast Surface Water Treatment Facility Vijeo CitectSCADA and Modicon Unity Pro PLC Software system, and authorize the Director of Public Utilities, or designee, to execute the Amendment on behalf of the City of Fresno.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This Amendment to the Agreement with Partners in Control, Inc. (Contractor), amends the original Agreement to include the addition of cyber and professional liability insurance requirements for necessary updates to the City of Fresno's (City's) Vijeo CitectSCADA and Modicon Unity Pro PLC Software system for the City's Northeast Surface Water Treatment Facility (NESWTF). Council approval of this Amendment will memorialize these requirements without increase to the original Agreement budget.

BACKGROUND

On June 25, 2015, and upon Council approval, the City entered into an agreement for installation and integration of an updated SCADA system software program for the City's NESWTF.
