Actions pertaining to Design of Water Main Replacement in the Sierra Sky Park Neighborhood (Council District 2) and the (County)
1. Approve professional consultant services agreement with Blair, Church & Flynn Consulting Engineers, Inc., for an amount not to exceed $156,100 for the Design of the Sierra Sky Park Neighborhood Water Main and Water Service Replacement Project
2. Authorize the Director of Public Utilities, or designee, to sign all documents on behalf of the City of Fresno

RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends that the City Council approve a consultant services agreement with Blair, Church & Flynn Consulting Engineers, Inc., (Blair) for the design of the Sierra Sky Park Neighborhood Water Main and Water Service Replacement Project for an amount not to exceed $156,100; and authorize the Director of Public Utilities or designee to sign the contract on behalf of the City of Fresno (City).
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Department of Public Utilities, Water Division, has identified the Sierra Sky Park Neighborhood as an area in need of water main replacement. The existing water mains to be replaced have exceeded the service life expectancy. Staff recommends the Council award a consultant services agreement to Blair for the design for the neighborhood water main and water service replacement project. Funding for this contract is included in the FY17 adopted budget.
