The City of Fresno seeks to construct the Project located on Herndon Avenue between State Route 41 to Fresno Street. The proposed Project consists of construction of an additional lane to relieve congestion and reduce delay on Herndon Avenue between Fresno Street and the SR 41 on-ramp. The Project will provide improved traffic flow and improve air quality by improving access to the SR 41 on-ramp. The main funding source for the project is a Federal grant through the Regional Surface Transportation Program (RSTP).
