RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that City Council authorize the Director of Aviation to execute Reimbursable Agreement AJW-FN-WSA-18-WP-001933 (Agreement) with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the amount of $178,587.63.

This work includes, (i) design review and approval of project components that impact FAA-owned systems, (ii) construction inspection and oversight, (iii) technical consultation, and, (iv) coordination of flight checks once the taxiway work is complete.

The existing FAA Airport Improvement Program (AIP) grant for the Project included funds for this Agreement. The work under this Agreement is a required element of the Project and is a necessary component of the Taxiway C recertification process.
