Actions pertaining to 10-Inch Sewer Main Installation in South Willow Avenue (Bid File 3651) (County of Fresno):
1. Adopt a finding of Categorical Exemption pursuant to Class 3, Section 15303(d) (New Construction) of the California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines
2. Award a Construction Contract to Haydon Construction, Inc., in the amount of $271,537
3. Authorize the Director of Public Utilities, or designee, to sign the contract on behalf of the City of Fresno

RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends that City Council adopt a finding of Categorical Exemption pursuant to Class 3, Section 15303(d) (New Construction) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines for 10-inch Sewer Main Installation in South Willow Avenue (Project); award a Construction Contract to Haydon Construction, Inc., in the amount of $271,537; and authorize the Director of Public Utilities, or designee, to sign the contract on behalf of the City of Fresno (City).
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Department of Public Utilities, Wastewater Management Division, is seeking to award a Construction Contract for the Project to Haydon Construction, Inc., in the amount of $271,537. The sewer extension on South Willow Avenue will allow customers to connect to the City's sewer main on East Jensen Avenue.
