Title
Actions pertaining to the design of 2,700 linear feet of 16-inch water main for the Water Replacement Project in North Armstrong Avenue between East Kings Canyon Road and East Butler Avenue (Council District 5 and Fresno County):
1. Award a consultant service agreement to Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group, in the amount of not to exceed $63,500
2. Authorize the Director of Public Utilities, or designee, to sign the agreement on behalf of the City of Fresno

RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends that City Council award a consultant service agreement to Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group, in the amount of not to exceed $63,500, including a contingency of $10,000, for professional engineering services pertaining to the design of 2,700 linear feet of 16-inch water main for the Water Replacement Project in North Armstrong Avenue between East Kings Canyon Road and East Butler Avenue (Project) and authorize the Director of Public Utilities, or designee, to sign the agreement on behalf of the City of Fresno (City).
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Department of Public Utilities, Water Division, seeks to award a consultant service agreement to Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group, in the amount of not to exceed $63,500, including a contingency of $10,000, for professional engineering services to design the Project. The scope of work includes providing design services for the construction of a replacement pipeline that is exhibiting failures.
