Title
Actions pertaining to the design of 4,298 linear feet of 66-inch diameter sewer trunk main in North Avenue between Orange Avenue and Golden State Boulevard (Council District 3 and County of Fresno):
1. Award a Consultant Services Agreement to Blair, Church & Flynn Consulting Engineers, in the amount of not to exceed $220,150
2. Authorize the Director of Public Utilities, or designee, to sign the agreement on behalf of the City of Fresno

RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends that City Council award a Consultant Services Agreement to Blair, Church & Flynn Consulting Engineers, in the amount of not to exceed $220,150, including a contingency of $20,000, for professional engineering services to design the North Avenue 66-inch diameter sewer trunk main (Project) and authorize the Director of Public Utilities, or designee, to sign the agreement on the behalf of the City of Fresno (City).
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Department of Public Utilities (DPU), Wastewater Management Division, is seeking to award a Consultant Services Agreement for professional engineering services to Blair, Church & Flynn Consulting Engineers, in the amount of not to exceed $220,150, including a contingency of $20,000, to design the Project. Structural deterioration of the existing 57-inch diameter trunk main requires 4,298 linear feet of replacement sewer trunk main to be constructed along North Avenue between Orange Avenue and Golden State Boulevard.
