Approve the first amendment for engineering consultant services with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., a New York corporation, for $31,718 increasing the contract total to $862,036 and extending the term through June 2020 for the Design of a New Odor Control System for the Headworks building at the Fresno-Clovis Regional Wastewater Reclamation Facility (Council District 3)

RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends that City Council approve the First Amendment to the Professional Consultant Services Agreement with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., to complete expanded scope of services and extended duration of the construction phase for the Odor Control Replacement Project.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Through a competitive consultant selection process Stantec Consulting Services was awarded a contract to provide engineering design, bidding support, and engineering support during construction for a replacement Headworks building odor control system that had reached the end of its useful life. This amendment is for additional design services and engineering support during construction that has been necessitated by construction contractor challenges. Completion of the odor control improvements will ensure compliance with San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District regulations and reduce maintenance costs.
