Approve the Fourth Amendment to the professional consultant agreement with Stantec Architecture, Inc., to incorporate additional design due to differing as-built conditions, project requirements, and emergency backup power requirements for the Department of Transportation, FAX Division Facility Improvement Project in the amount of $81,656.00 above the original Agreement of $1,007,990.24, for a total contract value of $1,324,787.99, and ask to authorize the Director of Transportation or designee to execute all related documents

RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends Council approve the Fourth Amendment to the professional consultant agreement with Stantec Architecture, Inc. (Stantec), to incorporate additional design due to differing as-built conditions, project requirements, and emergency backup power requirements for the Department of Transportation, FAX Division Facility Improvement Project in the amount of $81,656.00 and authorize the Director of Transportation or designee to execute all related documents.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Department of Transportation, FAX Division seeks the approval of a contract amendment to incorporate revisions in the scope of work associated with the FAX Facility Improvement Project. Key components of the additional services will allow FAX to incorporate ADA improvements to the administration building, resolve unforeseen as-built conditions, and improve emergency backup distribution in response to recent City Hall events and PG&E public safety power shutdowns.
